"Great experience from start to finish: - reached out to JR after finding his company on Angi. JR responded promptly, arrange for time to visit, was on time and professional and turned a competitive quote within a day or two - once the custom door was ready, his team arrived and worked for two days to remove windows, replace those with a door and redo drywall around the new door. Adjusted fast when encountered an issue with existing frame, but figured it out. The door looks great. They cleaned up during and after work/finish and were super professional. - had an issue with an outdoor plug they installed, JR responded very quickly and had his person come back to adjust on same day. And then had his electrician come and rearrange the rest. Works perfectly now. In short, I would certainly use JR and his team again and would certainly recommend to others. Provides great service, stands behind his work and all at a fair price!"

"Wonderful! Timely! Efficient! JR and his crew are really good at what they do!

Description of Work: They have done 3 large remodels for us in 2 different homes. First home was a third story master bath overhaul. Second home and most recently, they sided the whole house, installed a very large collapsing door to allow indoor/outdoor living, installed a full back patio the length of our whole house with lighting and fans. It ties into the house like it was original! They also turned an attic space into another bedroom and converted a Jack and Jill bathroom into 2 beautiful bathrooms with amazing showers (allowing one to be a private in suite bedroom upstairs). They painted our interior and exterior as well. The home looks brand new. Everyone that has seen the work is jealous. I’d hire again and have referred to many."

"H-Towne & Around is great to work with, and went above and beyond in our last project. We have used them previously on two other projects that we were very pleased with, so when our home was damaged during the 2021 freeze, we automatically called them for help. Danny invested many hours working with our insurance adjuster to be sure all the damage was addressed. JR is always prompt in responding to questions and/or issues, and the people who work for him are just the best. Knowing that we were living in the house with 2/3rds of it having open ceilings, JR got a crew out to put up the sheetrock and close the ceilings before we had made several important decisions, like picking kitchen cabinets, which was likely to mess up schedules. We were very grateful to have those ceilings closed up early in the process. Later, when faced with a 15 week wait on semi-custom cabinets, JR got us in touch with a custom cabinet maker that did the job in 2 weeks at an affordable price, plus we got custom cabinets! JR knows how to make things happen. An extra project not related to the damage, that H-Towne did during the restore, was to move a window in our breakfast area over a few feet, and rebuild it as a cantilevered window seat. It is awesome, makes the kitchen feel bigger, and from the outside looks like it has always been there as the brick that was removed was reworked to cover the hole left on the other side. It takes a lot of folks & coordination to put a house back together after extensive water damage, and do a few extra projects that the owner dreamed up as well, but we are so happy with the results. I highly recommend H-Towne & Around for any remodeling/restoration job."
